OWN • RISE • BUILD is a national economic membership institution advancing Black
business ownership, capital access, and collective economic power through structured
collaboration and transparent systems.
OWN • RISE • BUILD was established to address a structural economic gap: Black
businesses remain underfunded, underrepresented in procurement, and disconnected from
scalable capital ecosystems.
Rather than creating another program, OWN • RISE • BUILD was designed as a
membership-based economic institution powered by the Black Business Administration
(BBA) to coordinate resources, influence, and opportunity.
Through collective membership, we pool capital, expand access, and build a transparent
economic infrastructure where every dollar is tracked, every member has a stake, and every
outcome is measured.
This is not charity.
This is not donation-based dependency.
This is a structured economic system built by us, governed by accountability, and designed
for generational impact.
